Food safety is a big problem in Vietnam because small restaurants, husksters and large restaurants do not manage quality of foods well to lead to custormers to be in bad health after having their foods.

Therefore, it is compulsory to register a Certificate of Food Safety before doing business in Vietnam in any field related to foods and beverage.

1. Documents required to file a request for obtaining a certificate of food safety:

- Request form;

- Notarized Business Registration;

- Description of the business, equipment, device to meet the conditions of food safety (including the description about production line;

- Commitment Form;

- Health certificates of the owner and workers;

- Notarized certificate of training about food safety.

2. Time frame to obtain a certificate of food safety:

It takes about 1 month to accomplish the procedure to obtain a certificate of food safety.
